Forward in Hope

On Saturday 19th November, approximately 160 people (and around 30 on Zoom) got together to discuss their hopes for the future of the Circuit. It was lovely to see so many people together in one place, with the same goal – to ensure the Methodist Church continues and grows in Cardiff and Caerphilly.

We had so many lovely, encouraging comments about the day. Here are just a few we received:

“It was an amazing day. Many thanks to all those who organised it. Now we need to go forward in Faith.”

“Really good day, thanks to all who took part and organised the day.”

“Such a beautiful expression of love for our family!!!❤️”

“Just wanted to say the conference was so good and so well organised, well done to everyone!  Amazing speakers!”

“We are blessed with many Methodist Churches here in our circuit.
I, like my fellow preachers, am blessed to be able to visit and love all of them as we journey round and do Gods thing.
Yesterday we were all under one roof and it filled me with so much warm yummy stuff.
So many lovely people everywhere I looked, all there for the same reason.
That room was buzzing with something so special.
You almost didn’t want to leave……..
Is that what heaven is like?”

The Circuit Leadership Team (along with others who volunteered their help) will be looking at the thoughts, ideas and responses from the day and planning some next steps.

If you want the opportunity to get together as a Circuit again, you can join us for a morning of Worship at Cyncoed Methodist Church, 10.30am on Sunday 29th January. Let’s see what we can all do together. Let’s pack the Church with love, singing and prayer and join together as God’s family.
