Caerphilly Flower Festival

On the weekend of 16th to 18th June, Caerphilly celebrated its Annual Flower Festival.
Wesley joined in as they have done since 2008. It is sponsored by the town council and supported by most of the churches in Caerphilly.

Wesley’s Theme this year was Wales – Land of Song. The vestibule at the entrance, the front of the church and all the shelves were amazing, with different interpretations around the theme. Sid and Alison played the organ throughout and a bonus from Sid this year were photographs on the screens from previous flower festivals. There were refreshments where people could sit, chat and relax in the vestry. It was a busy weekend but good to see and feel the spirit moving at Wesley.
